Green data being harvested
Peterson's is scheduled to release our new College Sustainability Data this summer. We collected data from colleges and universities about the important "green" issues affecting their institutions and the sustainability initiatives they are undertaking on campuses around the country. This data will not only help students identify schools that have programs and activities focused on environmental responsibility but also help those who need the market intelligence for their own research.

Where does Peterson's college data come from?
It comes from Peterson's Annual Surveys. Our surveys are sent to thousands of accredited colleges and universities that meet our criteria, resulting in tens of thousands of survey pages processed each year. All data is submitted by officials at each school. In addition, many of the institutions that submitted data were contacted directly by Peterson's research staff to verify unusual figures, resolve discrepancies, or obtain additional data. All usable information received in time before the close of each survey is included in each database.
